My father had pre-arranged his funeral with Gearty-Delmore which made it easy for us. Gearty-Delmore did an excellent job. Our funeral director, Seth LeMieur, was terrific. He's a very nice man and his dress and demeanor were always impeccable. He communicated well and made everything easy for us.
For example, he had set up a first draft of the funeral booklet based on the generic artwork and selections my father had made years ago, but we wanted to incorporate two photographs and a biography we'd written for the website. It was a very nice experience.
What an incredibly compassionate team of staff. I would expect nothing less of course, but truly, they were all so kind and genuine. Sarah was our main contact and was an absolute gem, and the two men who worked with her throughout the day were also incredibly nice. Our family felt well taken care of and wrapped in love the entire day. In addition, their team did a beautiful job of prepping the body for burial. In the past, I've been not impressed with how people look after they pass away, but the work in our situation was masterful and subtle. He looked just to be sleeping, with no unusual makeup tones.
