Courtesy of Ramsey City Police Department and Ramsey Police Citizens' Academy, I was privileged to attend a training session. Had an amazing time learning from such knowledgeable instructors. The hot pursuit was my favorite.
This training was so worth the time and training. The driving course is great and they teach several stops, & misc. techniques, etc. By the end of training, we were driving a patrol car with lights and sirens on while performing "learned exercises," all while holding a walkie-talkie with a patrol following behind (lights & sirens on). It was truly fun. I truly appreciate the trainers for their patience with us!
Great class with knowledge instructors who bring relevant information into the training. Best EVOC course I've been to in 22 years. They offered a variety of squad cars to use dependent on your agency's needs.
