St. Francis Sleep Diagnostics Center

i was brought by ambulance to the ER. I had injured my knee and could not bear weight. The ER uses Suburban Emergency Associates to staff their providers. I ended up with Dr. Madore. He sent me for an x-ray and spent no more than 3 minutes on my exam. He then told me I had a "mild sprain" and to take Advil, which if he had even glanced at my chart, he would see I could not take. Due to the amount of pain and swelling, I was reassessed at Methodist and diagnosed with a full ACL tear and a partial MCL tear. If Dr. Madore had listened to the cause of the injury and done a thorough exam, he might have made a more accurate diagnosis. I will be having an ACL reconstruction....not at St. Francis....next week.
