I saw Dr. Kowalkowski severe EDS pain, that involves recurring rib subluxations. He state that that didn’t happen because “it would hurt too bad” and then said to me “wow, you’re back is in terrible shape” and as I was crying because it hurt how much he was prodding on it, he asked if depression was common for me. Then he recommended PT, which I was already doing. Absolutely would NEVER go back to see him or this clinic. Hooked me up to a tens unit and sent me on my way.

Doctor k , is the most amazing pain doctor. I have been living in pain for years and receiving treatment in the twin cities, i was fortunate to find Ippmc comma they have been professional and a pleasure to work with. They are very friendly period I would recommend highly.

Dr.K is amazing. I take my mother to him for pain management. For some time now my mom has been dealing with some serious pains in her neck after having fusions in her neck. The pains she was having were not normal pains to be having after fusion. Dr. K did many process of elimination procedures are top of pain management. He was soon to find out she had a fracture in her neck and fluid build up. This would in turn require surgery. They reconstructed her neck, send her to a crappy nursing home for rehabilitation, and she is seeing Dr.K again. Dr.K is very personable and does what he has to do to get to the root of your problem. I would recommend Dr. K anytime! Thanks for all your Help Dr. K.

don’t usually leave reviews, but after reading some of the negative ones here, I honestly wonder if people are talking about the same office I’ve been going to. I first came here for pain almost 10 years ago, and now that it resurfaced, I’m back again. Both times, my experience has been excellent.
The doctor and staff are real, authentic people. They talk to me at my level, not “above me” like many offices where you feel like just another patient in a short appointment slot. Here, I feel comfortable, respected, and treated as an equal. They’re down-to-earth, honest, and approachable.
Yes, the doctor speaks frankly. If you’re on his table, expect the procedure to hurt — because it’s naturally painful. That’s not rudeness; that’s reality. I respect that honesty. I’d rather have someone who tells me the truth, knows what they’re doing, and actually fixes the problem, than someone who just sugarcoats things to make me feel better.
He’s also personable. One moment he can be joking and making you laugh, the next he’s getting straight to your concerns — often answering questions before you even ask. That balance of humor and straight talk makes a tough process a lot easier.
From my experience, the bad reviews seem to come from people who were more upset about how they “felt” than about the actual medical care. If you want a doctor who tells you only what you want to hear, go somewhere else. But if you want fast, effective treatment from someone who knows what they’re doing, this is the place.
I’ve had nothing but good results here, both years ago and now. If you’re considering this office, don’t let the negative reviews scare you away. This is one of the best, most effective places you’ll find for real pain relief and it wont take weeks or months

After getting the runaround from the VA and other local medical facilities trying to get some long-term relief from back pain I came across IPPMC. Dr K and his staff have changed my life. When I came in here I couldn't walk a half mile and now I'm regularly taking my dog on walks as long as I would like, I'm sleeping through the night without pain.. And I think the best part of all is when I was done with my physical therapy I had a workout routine which has allowed me to strengthen my core and my neck along with other supporting areas. This modification of lifestyle is going to make a big difference thank you Dr K and all your staff 🌞

We are extremely frustrated with this place! We are have been trying for MONTHS to get my mother in laws pain treated here, with no results. We have left several messages and they never call us back. I don't typically leave reviews, this has just been an extremely painful process for us, and I could not recommend this place. Unfortunately, we have no other options because it would be too difficult to start all the testing and appointments with my aging mother in law:(
