Awesome store! On 23 April 2021, I brought my old cane to this store because it broke when tips needed to changed, but at home, someone heartlessly grabbed it to put different one in for me and broke it. That’s caused me to get upset because it was purchased by State Service for the Blind 7 years ago, so I had to buy a new mobility cane with my own credit card that made me to not happy with someone (not at this store) who heartlessly broke my 7 years old mobility cane. I swore I did not ask for a help with my old cane’s tips to help with change tips at home.

I took an elderly friend of mine with vision problems to this store to see what we could find to help her function better. Sue was so wonderful with my friend, endlessly patient and kind in showing options to her. Since normal magnifying glasses were not helpful to her, Sue showed us some "reading machines" that were pretty amazing (but spendy). My friend was so excited to be able to read her pill bottles, mail, cooking instructions etc by using this machine that she went back the next day and bought one. I am so happy she has this new tool to help her stay independent! Thank you Low Vision Store.
