The Schmidt Rathskeller is a beautiful and historic place that has been carefully restored. The staff is great, and they provide an interesting history of the building. The venue is perfect for parties and events, with a lovely interior that is well-suited for weddings. The food offerings, including a buffet with tenderloin tips, shrimp, fish balls, mini tacos, and onion rings, are highly praised. While the parking situation can be challenging, with unclear signage, the overall experience at the Rathskeller is described as wonderful and the service as superb, making it a memorable and special event venue.
Beautiful place staff was great also being told the history and how it was built and restored was awesome. They could not have done a better job... perfect for party's I will be back
We were at Mancini's Rathskeller within this building. The interior is interesting & lovely, a great place for a wedding! The parking, however, is horrible. Signs showed parking for Mancini's but, it was nowhere near the entrance. We had to try 3 entrances in pouring rain before we found the right one & that was only because someone showed us where it was. We were soaked before we got in. Also, no signs telling us it was in the basement.
Our son and new daughter in law had their wedding reception at the Rathskeller on April 23. The venue was perfect, and the food and service were superb. All of the guests stated this was the best reception they had been to. Thank you so much for making their wedding even more special and memorable!
