I hired Heartland to complete a home inspection for a home I was purchasing in St. Paul; a charming home built in 1924. Kaitlyn, my inspector, knew her stuff. Any questions I had, even those not highlighted on the report, she took the time to explain, show/demonstrate, and answer as if she were the one buying the home and looking for answers. Professional, straight to the point, yet personable and trustworthy. She really helped me understand what I was walking into with the purchase of this beautiful, old, quirky home - invaluably helpful! I can't adequately express gratitude - she was terrific.
Heartland Inspections was very easy to work with and provided a detailed home inspection and report. We were able to schedule an inspection with only a few days notice online via their website. We were able to attend the last hour of the inspection to receive information and ask questions from DC Patton, our inspector. DC is very knowledgeable and personable and provided a lot of valuable information to us. The report we received was thorough and included recommendations for improvements, including explanations for why and suggestions for those to be prioritized. We would highly recommend Heartland Inspections in general and DC specifically.
