I took my son here for his first haircut (terrified) and it was awesome! He was engaged in conversation the whole time with the barber and graduated with a certificate! GREAT experience in our local little town!! Will definetly go back again

Choosing a barber shop is, for some, a prospect more nail-biting than picking a new doctor. Ben's Barber Shop is a vintage barber shop - barber pole and all. Fred Cropsey and his brother Joe have run the place since 1975, when he bought it from the former owner. Fred is a certified master barber, and lives up to the title. This was my first visit, and I received a perfect haircut. Fred used a trimmer without any guards, and worked with a quick efficiency and subdued sense of humor as he made small talk with me and other patrons. One man asked, "Isn't this your slow period?"
