As new home buyer, Emily, Jesse, and Ian at Neighborship Mortgage made us feel extremely comfortable and well informed during the entire process. They were able to explain the process and use graphics to make us feel involved and well informed. They were very transparent and educational with the current available rates and all possible routes/outcomes when considering the best options for us. They were ALWAYS willing to create worksheets to give us an idea of what our finances would look like for different rates and homes. They truly worked hard to keep us informed and find us the best deals. They were ALWAYS happy to hop on a call to walk us through any questions we had. Okay, look and listen- Neighborship is not just a mortgage brokerage. Everything they do is in the best interest of clients, with a steadfast focus on reducing barriers to fair financial products for everyone, especially those who have been historically marginalized by the industry. Whether you are a first time homebuyer who needs assurances that you're in the hands of big-hearted, client-centered professionals, or if you're a social-conscious consumer who wants to support a business who centers the community, Neighborship is the place.This team went way above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were taking the steps we needed to qualify for the most favorable home loan terms. I'm really curious and I like to get "under the hood" during big financial moves, and Neighborship took the time to make sure I felt supported, educated, and confident. NO ONE DOES THAT IN THIS INDUSTRY. We probably spent 10 hours total over a few months sketching out a plan for our credit and determining clear next steps and timeline before finally closing on the best loan available. Neighborship didn't get paid for all that- they just wanted our business and to provide their knowledge as a resource. It almost felt too good to be true, but in fact, it's just the way the whole industry should be! I'm so grateful.
