“Working with April at Steven Cabinets was a great experience. She listened to our ideas, our constraints, and our style, and was able to create a beautiful high-quality mudroom as well as a built-in double desk for our kids from a totally blank slate. Steven Cabinets was subcontracted through our general contractor as part of a larger basement renovation. As to be expected for almost every renovation project, there are bound to be small hiccups or pivots that come up. Two such hiccups came up in ours between our GC and Steven (paint mismatch due to manufacturer recipe change; and one piece of cabinetry trim that was slightly wrong size). April not only took initiative to correct but went above & beyond with her communication, transparency, and timeliness throughout. We ended the project with much respect for her and her work and would highly recommend Steven Cabinet based on both their product quality but also their integrity, communication, and project management.“

“We needed a custom built closet for a children's bedroom, so I put together a simple sketch showing the layout with approximate dimensions and called a few carpenters in the Twin Cities. Walt confidently said he could build the closet, and within the timeframe I needed (my wife was pregnant at the time). Walt not only installed the closet before our deadline, but the quality of the wood, drawers, paint, hardware, etc all exceeded all expectations. His attention to detail was impressive (trim). We are looking forward to having an excuse to have Walt build something else for our home, as his elegant closet completely changed the entire room.10/10. Would Recommend.“

“We remodeled our kitchen which was original to our house and really wanted cabinets that matched the age of our house. And since we cook a lot and are planning to live here forever, we wanted to use a cabinet company that could give us exactly what we wanted. When Charles Cabinets says custom, they really mean it! In planning our kitchen I made a lot of little requests that they probably aren't used to getting, but they didn't say no to anything. I came to them with a lot of ideas in my head but nothing on paper, and Pat and Tom were able to draw up all the plans and suggest things I hadn't thought of, and in the end it all came together 100% perfectly. We've been using our kitchen for a few months now and the cabinets are top quality, beautiful, and such a pleasure to use. When I have had questions about a few minor problems Charles Cabinets have been quick to respond with solutions even though we have fully paid and they have moved on to other jobs. Highly recommend!“
