“The Spear's Landscaping team was great to work with. We knew we wanted an update to our backyard and wanted to create a family space but had no idea where to start.

Jeff and Dave were very responsive and came out immediately to take a look at our space, hear what we were wanting out of it and had suggestions on how best to utilize our yard without having it look out of place with our house and wooded backyard.

They had a plan worked up for us quickly and were good adapting a few changes we had before and during the process. They were great with giving us ideas for the projects as add-ons without pushing it knowing everyone works on a budget. Jeff was also very conscious of working the project to the budget.

Another thing our family appreciated was the team that came in to do the work - his crew worked from sun up to sun down and even our neighbors were impressed at how hard they worked to get the projected completed quickly. They were quick to notice if something didn't come together how they had hoped and made sure to rework it to be perfect. It was very much appreciated their attention to detail and they're willingness to meet high standards.

They were also great with our dog who ventured out while they worked as well as taking some time to interact with our kids and show them the different machines they were using for the project.

Lastly, we appreciated the direct communication with Jeff and his team. Through calls, texts and emails, we were always in the loop on where we were throughout the project and what to expect next.

In short, Jeff and his team are a great example of taking ownership of a project and executing our plan.“

“We had a sump drainage problem at our old house that Tom had fixed. When we moved into our new house, we had the same problem. Essentially the original pipelines aren’t long enough and you end up getting a wet spot in your lawn. Also, by not running the pipelines far enough, your sump pump will go off more which can lead to premature wear and failure of the sump pump because the water is basically recycled through with nowhere else to go. Tom and his team did an excellent job with the new French drain/sump pipelines. He fixed the wet spot issues in both houses. I would definitely recommend Tom and his team if you have drainage issues since they are probably the only people within the twin cities that know how to do a French drain properly and grade it so that the water flows to where it needs to go, away from the house. Communication was excellent. Tom kept us in the loop and got back to us in a timely manner. Updating us with pictures and plans throughout the extent of the project.“

“Stan The Man! Just used Sunshine for the first time on a irrigation system that hasn't run for years. Stan came out, got it working, and replaced broken heads in no time. He's a pro! Not to mentioned the fact that he's a good guy too! If you're lucky enough to have Stan out, make sure you ask him about Tiny and Aladdin!“
