Nail Envy Spa and Salon is a locally owned business in downtown Rochester. The salon prides itself on providing excellent customer service and has over a decade of experience in the nail industry. Clients have praised the cleanliness of the salon and the friendly staff. James, one of the technicians, has received particular acclaim for his full sets and pedicures. Another technician, the owner's wife, is also highly regarded for her pedicures. While some customers have had positive experiences with James and the owner's wife, others have reported inconsistencies in the quality of work from other technicians. Some have noted issues with polish application and the durability of gel manicures.
I've been coming here since moving to Rochester from Texas last year, and I've never been disappointed! My mother in law and I like to go together and book our acrylics with James and Mai. My nails always look amazing, even when I get high maintenance/complicated designs such as cat's eye, mirror chrome, or the addition of jewels. I highly suggest a paraffin treatment with your pedicure too!
Salon is clean and staff are friendly. Work is sloppy however, I left my pedicure with polish on my skin and she used the oldest, thickest top coat that left the finish of my polish bubbly and uneven.
Nail Envy Spa is very clean. I like the steps the owners take to keep the spa looking nice and clean! The owner and his wife are great! I have had several nail dip manicures by James. They look great and last a long time. I loved my pedicure that his wife gave. Unfortunately, I am not as impressed with some of the other nail techs. I had gel not dip the last manicure. In 9 days I have returned to the spa to have 4 nails fixed and as of today 3 more are broke or chipped. I will have my hometown nail person give me my next manicure. I will go to Nail Envy again,but will make my request for James or his wife to work with my nails.
