I have gone to several Valvoline locations in the larger metro area. This one is the best. They always have the conventional oil (which is not guaranteed across franchises, apparently) and they always accept my coupons. Staff is generally cheerful and friendly and there is often no line. If there is a line, it moves faster than any other location I've visited. They actually check the tire pressure (again, apparently not standard practice at all locations) and they actually pay attention to the work they're doing. Thanks for being consistently great!
What has earned 4 stars from me has been all of my positive experiences at this location over several years. What keeps it from 5 is that it's 8:11 am, and I'm one of three cars (one left already) that are waiting for it to open for business. Fortunately I've got free time to wait this morning, but on a weekday, most people don't. Great location, but I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. (A fourth car just pulled up)
I had such a great experience at Northfield Valvoline! The manager did an excellent job with my oil change, and I was so impressed that I came back to get my headlight and blinker fixed. Kaiden did a fantastic job, and the tech working with him (wish I caught his name!) was just as phenomenal. They were quick, polite, and made a real positive impact on my day. The pricing was fair, and the service was outstanding. I’ll definitely keep coming back—thank you, Valvoline team
