Most training feels like a chore, but Corey facilitates a seamless transition from theory to tactical reality. The hands-on drills strip away the clumsy amateurism of a beginner, replacing it with the poise of a professional, if you continue to practice with the drills he provides. He teaches you how to think, handle, and utilize a weapon during your class and reminds you of the steps to be safe in a given situation. There always important, so you can remain F.I.N.E.

Do yourself a favor and take Cory’s class! I knew very little about handguns and I wanted to attend a class that was open and welcoming to everyone. I also wanted hands on experience while learning self defense and handgun basics. Cory is a thoughtful and engaging instructor. The class was the perfect size and I was also able to learn from fellow students who had more experience than me. It was a fun day and I picked up valuable skills and drills to work on at home and at the range. I have already recommended this class to others. I hope Cory is still teaching when I need to renew!
This is hands down one of the best activities my son is involved in. Not only is it great physical fitness, but the lessons are intentional about integrity, discipline, and respect. The structure of the classes makes it super accessible for any schedule.
