I really appreciated working with Korry Arndt-Wenger. I was seeking a therapist who would not only listen but also challenge me to work on strategies for success. He was friendly, let me speak as much as I needed but also really dug in and asked the tough questions. I find this is rare in a therapist. I consider myself extremely lucky to have connected with him.
If you've struggled with mental health long enough you know that there are two types of treatment: The kind you get when you're a "good patient" and the kind you get when you're not capable of keeping it together, when you're a "bad patient."
I can say with confidence there's at least one person here who can handle those, in my case, rare moments where it all fell apart. Dr. Eckert treated an incredibly difficult situation (me) with class, compassion, and professionalism despite my troubles. She treated me with respect and dignity.
