The staff are friendly, helpful, and easy-going, creating a non-intimidating atmosphere for clients. Members appreciate that the gym is less crowded during certain hours, especially between 10am and noon, making it easier to use the equipment and get a casual workout. The gym offers a variety of cardio equipment and machines that are usually working, though it may not be ideal for those seeking many free weights or plyo work. One standout staff member, Joni, was recognized for her kindness and attentiveness after a member had an accident in the gym. Joni made sure the member was okay, offered water and Gatorade, and provided comfort, going above and beyond. Members also enjoy the convenience of being able to finish their workout quickly, often in about an hour, and then relax in the massage chair or tan if they wish. Overall, the Minnetonka Planet Fitness offers excellent value for the dollar and is a great place for those seeking a positive, supportive environment to improve their fitness.
