I've trained at AKS for nearly 20 years. The first 10 years were as a child and teenager, where I was able to learn Tae Kwon Do and its associated behaviors of discipline, focus, persistence, and self-confidence. Moving back to the Minnetonka area many years later, I enrolled my 3 kids here and each have had the same physical and mental benefits I experienced. It has been amazing for my kids to train under the same instructor that I trained with in my youth. For myself, I thoroughly enjoy the continued journey in my TKD learning, and it's a great workout as well! I am so grateful for American Karate Studio!

I attended AKS decades ago. Under the guidance of Richard Timm, Sandra Miller, Eric Sitt, Kevin Driscoll, and Mr. Harrington and Stomberg, and of course the Legend Mr Marotta.
AKS holds their students to the highest level of excellence. I have witnessed how other schools do their thing, and no one compares to AKS.
