The salon space is very unique. There's always something new and interesting to look at, the music is good, and Jess is great. She is a good listener, she's on time and knows her craft well. She also offers her clients a parking space on the side of the building which can be a challenge in the North Loop. Very convenient and fun experience.
I can not say enough great things about my experience with Jess! She was recommended by a coworker because I was going from very blonde to red and she absolutely KILLED it! She asked for inspo pictures as well as what my hair currently looked like and when I came in she had a plan already. She was fun and I just trusted her fully and she was so affordable. I have to say, I'm a picky hair gal because my mom is a hair stylist but do yourself a favor and make an appointment today!
I have been coming to Jess at 701 Salon for about 3 years, and I've always left her chair feeling happy and confident with my color/cut. There are plenty of salons closer to home (I know, I tried them in the past), but Jess is definitely worth the drive! She listens to understand my unique hair needs (I have fine hair) and lifestyle (busy, working mom), and helps me achieve a hairstyle I can care for and feel great about. Also, she is just so genuine, warm, funny - a truly good human! I also enjoy the inviting, boutique-feel of the salon - there is no reception staff or pushy product salesperson. I look forward to my relaxing hair appointments!
