I give Fixt Electric my highest praise! I had to have a light fixture modified to work in my house. This required some custom metal work. Two parts had to be machined. To resolve this I spent a day trying: O'Brien Auto Parts - No Home Depot - No Central Lock - No Ace Hardware - No TC Automotive - No People were suggesting lighting specialist in St. Paul and out in the burbs but after some web searching I found Fixt Electric right here in NE Minneapolis. The shop is filled with cool retro light fixtures. There was no wait and they used some unorthodox but effective techniques to machine and make my fixture come together. I'm so relieved, all these big box stores and chains couldn't do a thing and were put to shame by this awesome independent shop.
