East Lake Aikido is an inclusive and welcoming dojo led by passionate Aikido enthusiasts. The community is known for its kindness and support, offering great instruction that challenges students to grow both physically and personally. The dojo is especially welcoming to trans and non-binary individuals of all ages.
East Lake Aikido has opened my mind to the possibility that I can be strong! Galen is a thoughtful leader. The classes are full of joy and intentional hard work. The children’s classes are fun and focused. This dojo has found the magical sweet spot of youthful energy and spiritual focus.
Instructor is clear and always insightful. Mindfulness in practice is emphasized. A good balance of technique and connection. A great training environment. The community is warm and inviting.
