The clinic is a Certified Cat Friendly Practice, and the staff is described as patient, caring, knowledgeable, friendly, and detail-oriented. They provide quality pet care at a great value, and clients praise the doctors for their clear explanations and willingness to handle emergencies. The clinic has an app and texting ability that keeps communication open and convenient, and the staff is very sweet to the dogs that come in. Clients feel welcome and appreciate that the doctors take the time to answer all their questions and concerns without rushing them. The clinic has been praised for going above and beyond with their care, from detailed routine exams to helping in urgent situations, and for being knowledgeable, responsive, kind, and thorough when explaining results and next steps.
I first came to Best Friends about 6 months ago to put my dog Xenio down. Which they were nothing but accommodating, kind and very compassionate about what they do. Then a couple weeks ago I brought one of my other dogs Klein in for a second opinion on what has been making him sick since September. They were very determined to help figure out what was wrong. We didn't get the chance to complete his workup before he passed. So when they found out they were very sympathetic for what I had gone through once again. I couldn't thank them enough for being there through both my rainbow dogs.
Best Friends Animal hospital is always very compassionate and helpful. They really care a lot about your pet. For example, following up to see how the pet is doing after their appointment.
I was looking for a new vet for my cats after my old one retired and found this clinic nearby. The staff were very friendly and detail orientated, Dr. Genya Metzen was wonderful and explained things so well. The service is great and the prices are fair.
Edit: Dr. Metzen has left the clinic which is incredibly sad, but they are still great and have a good staff. They have a relief veterinarian named Dr. Marija Radovic that is fantastic, I wish they would hire her on full time to replace Dr. Metzen.
