Adara Home Health will not give out the last name of their employees they intend to send to private homes. I have a child with special needs as does my sister and we have had in home PT and OT for years. We have never been exposed to a provider that will not provide the full information of the people that wish to enter patient homes. And when asked about it, Adara employees are arrogant and obtuse with their response. If you can find another provider, I would highly recommend going in that direction.

I was totally happy with Adara out of Mankato when I moved to the Twin Cities. I got Adara located out of Blaine. They make a lot of medication errors and then argue with you about it instead of trying to solve the problem. Medication errors should be taken seriously then they produced an old doctors note from over a year ago, showing my medication’s when they knew I had moved. My medication had been updated and they had been sorting it correctly up until the nurses changed. We could not be more DISPLEASED and DISGUSTED with Adara Home Health. They were contracted by the Veteran's Administration to help our disabled vet relative. The nurse case manager showed up at the his apartment, but wouldn't take his vitals or set up his meds or do anything to help him because she said his apartment was too dirty (something we were working on helping him get cleaned up). The nurse had the option of helping him out in the indoor courtyard of the apartment building to do his vitals and set up his meds, but wouldn't even do that. Adara used to provide homemaker services to help people clean their homes, but they don't do that anymore (but didn't bother to tell the VA that when the VA contracted them to help our relative). We spoke with the supervisor who provided nothing but incredibly lame excuses...she said because the vet's toilet wasn't working properly in the apartment, it presented a "health and safety issue", along with soiled clothing laying on the floor. What the hell does a slow flushing toilet or dirty clothes have to do with an in-home nurse setting up someone's meds or taking their vitals??!! If you're looking for shoddy unreliable services, then by all means use Adara. It's disgusting that the Veteran's Administration contracts with this terrible company.
