I’ve been in and out of therapy since I was a child. I’ve spent countless years of my life in various places and no one has even come close to this one. When I was told about Healthwise, I was skeptical and also pretty cynical because I’ve worked with so many people and it never seemed to “click.” I met my current therapist and over the course of 13 months, I’ve watched my life change. I’ve worked with several people in this establishment (therapists/med management/billing/etc) and they all have been absolutely wonderful. I genuinely wish I would have found this place 12 years sooner. My current therapist has changed my life in every beautiful way possible. I spent YEARS looking for answers and no one could give me any. Through our work together, I was finally given answers. Finally seen. Finally heard. This match has been life changing and profound. I’m not one to shout praises, but I felt that this place (and her) should be acknowledged. Nothing but good things to say about everyone here. I am SO grateful. If I could recommend everyone to this place, I would. Thank you, Healthwise!

My experience with HealthWise Behavioral Health and Wellness has been nothing short of amazing! I have been through many therapists throughout my adult life and never quite seemed to be able to find a therapist that was the right fit for me. At Healthwise, I finally have felt like the therapist I see is a perfect fit for me! I see Nina for therapy and she has been so supportive and helpful for me! It isn’t easy to find a therapist that is skilled and able to help with the healing process of the complex nature of religious trauma, childhood trauma, and neurodivergence… and Nina has been amazing at helping me through this process and journey of deconstruction and healing. I really appreciate that she is mindful of my emotions and the pace of processing through my trauma. I feel safe and comfortable with her and she is very professional. I had a bad experience with a different therapist in the past who got offended when I expressed the anxiety I felt before therapy sessions and asked if it was because of her… with Nina, when I expressed my anxious feelings that I feel before therapy sessions, she was very professional and understanding about it, which felt like a breath of fresh air compared to the negative therapy experiences from my past! I really feel relieved to have a therapist I can feel safe, comfortable and able to be vulnerable with!

I also see a medication management provider here, Dr Kayla Kvell, and I feel like I am heard, listened to, and actually understood. It’s nice to have the ability to have both my therapist and medication management both through the same company. I am grateful that I have always had a positive experience here, from the phone receptionists to the providers!

I saw a therapist here (Kelly S.) who was incompetent, reckless, and did lasting damage. She has no business working in some of her listed "specialties" and I am appalled to see she is still working as a therapist. I suggest avoiding this practice.

Always record your appointments with cell phone or computer. They will change your medications, but not tell the pharmacy. So you could be penalized, committed etc. She told me to take Lithium as PRN and do lab work in a couple months but the bottle said take 2 tablets at bedtime. Lithium levels ......They will make you take medications you are allergic to and don't metabolize leaving you in potentially dire situations with the system potentially accusing non compliance. Lithium levels. They will gaslight you and blame you for their errors. And when I accidentally picked up my anxiety meds from old Dr I was accused and red flagged. I had no idea I was doing anything wrong. The pharmacy texted me.Proceed with caution here. Not holistic at all.I just wanted to go to a female who understands CPTSD instead of another gentleman saying bipolar bipolar bipolar when I was traumatized when I got the diagnosis of bipolar.

I tried to make an appointment with this facility but they didn’t have a male psychiatrist. I want to why you don’t not have a male psychiatrist on staff? Just a heads up, a man probably most likely would like to speak to another man. But you don’t offer that in maple grove. I’m sure your thinking is that men don’t seek help as much as women, but that’s just not true. Everyone deserves a chance to talk to a person they think they can trust. It seems like you’re only interested in making money rather than helping people. Could you please elaborate on this?

I have never been so happy with a facility like this! Three people in our family have therapists here and each of us are thrilled with the care we receive. For me personally my therapist is the best one I have ever had in all my years of therapy. Finally, I have the best therapist for me at this point in my life. Thank you Healthwise!!

I am giving 5 stars to my amazing therapist Becky! She is incredible and changed my life in the best way. I see tangible differences after a year+ of working with her.Yes, the administration of this clinic is rough and it’s hard to get booked, but my experience with my therapist is exceptional! Thank you, Becky!
