My wife and I decided to remodel a ground floor bathroom so it would be age appropriate if we would ever have trouble going up stairs. We’ve never remodeled a bathroom before so we asked some of our friends and neighbors for recommendations. Much to our surprise, three of them recommended the same company, College City Design, Build and Remodel. We called them and Dale, one of the owners came out. He didn’t seem like a salesman. He wasn’t trying to get us to make a decision and sign a contract. Rather, it was quite the opposite. We did a complete remodel and expansion (150 square feet) of our kitchen and mud room area. It was a down to the studs reconfiguration that relocated and added plumbing fixtures, added a makeup air and tempering unit for a 600CFM range hood, all new cabinets, 2 islands, a walk in mud room closet, an additional window and a walk in pantry. In addition 1200 square feet of oak flooring was refinished, 300 square feet of porcelain tile was installed and a foyer closet was removed. Despite COVID all the work was accomplished in a timely and professional manner.
