Had such a great experience. One of my dogs was very old and not the best at standing. Amanda took the extra time to be sure she was supporting her while still grooming.
I also like that my pups weren't in a kennel the whole time.

We see Amanda at Grateful Grooming because of her gentle approach and deep empathy for her furry clients. She goes slowly to help shy dogs feel more comfortable, and she is willing to make accommodations to ensure their visits aren't scary experiences. The best thing about taking my dog here is that I know I can trust Amanda to try a new approach or take a break if my dog gets overwhelmed and needs some help. Grateful Grooming is not a factory style salon that puts high volume ahead of pets' wellbeing. Dogs who are able to do so are allowed to be out on the shop floor unkenneled. Grateful Grooming did a great job trimming my dog, Dodger. Southview Animal Hospital recommended them for the care and handling of my old Addison's diseased buddy. Dodger needed pill sedatives, and an increase in his meds to get through the session. Grateful Grooming brought him in early and did some bonding w/ Dodger to lessen the stress. I am very happy with the results! Dodger is too! He must have been bound up by the fur mess and he can see better!
