Great store! Wonderful selection, clean, well-organized. I loved the decor, the Grand Ol’ Opry homage on the stairwell was really cool! Staff is super friendly, they were happy to give us local coffee recommendations.
I do a fair bit of business with Mill City, and find the selection is pretty good- albeit a bit on the pricey side. Their Record Club makes price less of an issue if you plan on building your collection. At $20 per year you get 10% off almost all vinyl, and Tuesdays 20% off used records.
My only wish is for some evening hours for those of us that work 9-5. Tuesday evenings would be great so I can take full advantage of my membership
My Grandfather made an obscure though amazing album with UA. I had NO! Not ANY expectation of ever finding it. OK, so yeah Mill City Sound had it by chance, cataloged a potentially valuable object, and put it out to the universe. My point is: it was VALUED.
Most importantly, they spent the money to ship it with the care it deserves (to me anyway) and because of them, my Grandfather will live longer than me!
