My Schweiss Doors were installed around six years ago and have worked perfectly. I recently became aware that the latch straps were fraying due to improper alignment at installation. I have also become aware that the excellent instructions provided by Schweiss were not followed and that was causing the problem. I sent an email to Schweiss Doors with pictures of the straps and figured I would see what happened. I was very surprised when I got a call that same day and was told that they would be sending replacement straps and instructions at no cost to me. It was those instructions that indicated the airport sourced installation crew had installed the straps incorrectly. I could not be more pleased with the response from Schweiss Doors to an issue that was not their fault and a part that was well out of warranty. Many thanks from a unexpectedly happy customer. Wonderful staff. Great service from ER to hospital admission then swing bed for a rehab stay followed by outpatient therapies and clinic for follow up visits.
