Lenz Construction was founded in 2012 by James Lenz. James started in the construction industry in 2007 working as a project manager for a local contractor. He fell in love with construction and working with people at this moment. In 2009 he transitioned into running painting crews for a friend. This lasted until 2012 when James formed Precision Painting and Finishing which is now dba Lenz Construction. Over the years the business has evolved first starting with residential and commercial painting projects, then adding carpentry/drywall/water damage repairs, then full circle to roofing, siding, windows, gutters and painting projects.
Customers describe Lenz Construction as amazing and exceptional. The team took the time to sit down and talk about the process and what was needed. The team was super responsive, very reachable and honest, walked customers through the various requirements and paper work, worked directly with the insurance company and made it so incredibly easy. The team was super understanding and considerate about the timing being hard. The team did the roof work well and fast, and the work was done in a day. The team went above and beyond in sending updates, pictures, and responded to frequent questions quickly and cheerfully. The team was professional and efficient, and even added on some additional small exterior cosmetic work that wasn’t part of the roofing project. The team was exceptionally talented, thorough, and conscientious. The team gave the most thorough inspection and report and was instrumental in procuring more funds from the insurance company.

I then had a second opinion say the same thing, then a third who was working in the neighborhood agree. Derrick stopped by and I told him not to look as it would be a waste of his time.
A couple months later he stopped by again and asked to take a look, telling me he would rather see for himself. After a quick inspection he found a number of spots of significant hail damage, he got… read full review
We had an amazing experience with Lenz! We found out very suddenly that we had to replace our entire roof. We had no idea we'd have to and had a very short turn around time to get it done. This also happened right as we were going through a number of other challenging situations - in other words, the timing could not have been worse. We got a few referrals for companies but Lenz was the only one that really took the time to sit down with us and talk about the process, what was needed, etc. All credit to Derrick here - he was there from the start, super responsive, very reachable and honest. He not only walked us through the various requirements and paper work, he worked… read full review
Derrick and his team were exceptional. They went above and beyond to provide a professional and efficient roofing job. Derek even added on some additional small exterior cosmetic work that wasn’t part of the roofing project. Excellent customer service.
