These folks definitely know what they are doing & all the right equipment to make short work of most any job! For us, they pieced down (3) large green ash trees & (3) even larger maple - stacked the brush - ground the stumps - and cleaned up like they owned the place, all in the space of a day! Losing these beautiful trees is painful enough. It's nice to see it happen in such a professional manner. Since everything they took down was close to the house or other outbuildings, it was nice knowing they were bonded and insured and had everything they needed to do it right! Sad part is..... We'll soon have more trees in trouble. At least we'll know who to call!
After moving back to the Albert Lea area, we needed several trees cut down in our back yard. Very tall cottonwoods and more. Some precariously placed. Several near our house. After 20 months of attempting to get this project underway, and simply not hearing back from local tree services in Albert lea, we reached out to Thate's Tree service, out of Fairmont, and were thrilled to finally have our backyard project underway after nearly 2 years of waiting on other tree service companies. What we experienced with Thate's started with a swift response to a quote request. Their communication before the project, during, and after was outstanding. No waiting to hear back and very clear answers to any questions we had before, during, and after the project. We didn't have to wait and wonder with Thate's. The first day they were on-site, they introduced us to each and every one of their teammates. We were always greeted by the team with kind smiles and kind hearts. Nice folks to do business with. Very professional and it's clear that safety is #1. They move swiftly and don't leave a "branch behind". I understand they've done a lot of work in the Albert Lea area and we would recommend them to anyone in southern Minnesota as their service area is very large! Thate’s friendly crew expertly and efficiently removed two 130-year-old silver maples that were dangerously close to my house and hanging over the roof. They proficiently went beyond my expectations cleaning up and removing wood chips, limbs and large trunk sections.
