“I was a bad patient in that I hadn't been to the dentist in over a decade. I was expecting the worst. I was able to get an appointmenr in a timely manner when most others were months out. The staff are extremely polite, friendly, comforting and efficient. The 3D imaging helped me understand where the problem areas were as they were being described to me. The hygenist would explain what the cost of each procedure was prior to executing the procedure so I always knew who much it was costing me. Then the doctor came in and explained all of my needs and why these steps were important. I was then told that if I wanted some of the procedures done now, she could do them for me. They let me know what the cost would be prior to my final decision. I was so happy that I didn't need to wait to make another appointment for these procedures. So that day, I got a deep clean, an overall assessment of my needs, an abstraction and a filling done in one visit. The team was extrememly professional, quick and the procedures were virtually pain free. I would definitely recommend Progressive Dental in Shakopee and specifically Dr. Ayesha Downs. She was fantastic!!! Going to the dentist after so many years was actually a pleasant experience. I will do all my dentistry at Progressive Dental and will recommend them to all of my family members and friends.“

“this is probably the best customer service/ service I have ever had. I haven't been to the dentist EVER due to depression and severe anxiety. I decided to go for the first time here a few years ago. I was so affraid they would judge me for having trouble taking care of my teeth/ never going to the dentist. But Dr. Merissa Richter and the assistants were INCREDIBLE. they didn't judge for one second or ask questions. they also went through all the steps with me and explained how EVERYTHING works. Even the assistants were amazing about when to come in and understood financial situations when most places push you to schedule to get more money, they told me to take it easy and to come in when I can financially afford to and also said they wont overwork on me so i dont get burnt out!! The fear of the dentist of my entire 27 years have gone down thanks to dr Melissa and the lovely assistants.
