In the case of a mare diagnosed with navicular, Dr. Dave conducted a thorough exam, using nerve blockers and x-rays to diagnose and recommend an effective treatment plan. The office staff is accommodating and understanding, adjusting appointments when necessary. They also respond quickly to emergencies, such as injuries late at night, and can fix a variety of health issues and injuries efficiently, often allowing horses to go home the same day. I have never had to take a horse to the hospital before, my horse (23) had his 1st ever colic! And it was very bad gas colic, they got me in right away and Margo and her team were very polite and straight forward for the next steps for his care! I felt comfortable knowing he was in the right place to get better! And very affordable! I was very stressed about bills, but they were very good about keeping me to a solid budget! Thank you again!
Anoka Equine is a top notch veterinary facility. I talked to Dr. Jessica last night with a potential emergency situation - she was great. We discussed my options and made a plan for today. I drove to Anoka this morning and was fortunate to have Dr. Jessica and Dr. JC work on my 1 year old. My first visit to this clinic was last year around this time with this same horse as a baby (with Dr. JC). Today I was reminded was a phenomenal vet Dr. JC is - beyond his obvious technical expertise is his calm, patient personality that instantly puts the horses, owners & staff at ease. Incredible facility! I've never felt like someone cared so much for a pet that wasn't even theirs! We brought in a 3 year old mini that was next thing to crossing over & they did an emergency surgery on a Sunday afternoon that saved her life! The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly! Thank you, from little Mia and her humans!
