Wonderful staff!! Everyone i spoke to from the moment I stepped in was polite and professional. I was definitely nervous going in but the atmosphere is very calming and Lisa Legvold was very knowledgeable, clear, and respectful. I appreciate this place very much and will definitely return for any future dermatology needs

I really enjoyed my first appointment here! I'm autistic and it can be hard for me to go to a new practice, I always get sort of nervous, but everyone here was sooooooooooo nice. They were friendly, listened to all my concerns, and I wasn't bombarded with a bunch of paperwork to speed through. The building itself is nice and clean and they have some drinks available, everything was super clear and easy to navigate. I was very happy with the level of care and I would recommend to anyone!

I recently moved here from California, so this was my first experience seeing a dermatologist in Minnesota. Since the office is located in Edina, I expected a high level of professionalism and care, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
During my initial visit, I came in with specific skin concerns and was prescribed a medication. At my follow-up appointment, I was prescribed another medication. What stood out to me, however, was that the nurse practitioner did not personally examine my skin and instead seemed to rely entirely on the notes taken by her assistant during the intake process. That felt concerning and not thorough.
In addition, her assistant’s overall appearance and demeanor came across as unprofessional—she looked disheveled, as if she had just gotten out of bed, which did not instill confidence in the quality of care I was receiving.
What frustrated me most was the way my condition was handled. Rather than taking a careful, evidence-based approach, she repeatedly made assumptions—such as suggesting my skin issue was caused by bed bugs—without properly investigating or considering my situation. I had just moved into a brand-new apartment that no one had lived in before. Although I had recently traveled to San Francisco, the conclusion felt dismissive and unsupported. This pattern of assumption happened multiple times.
I felt that my concerns were not properly evaluated and that the care I received lacked professionalism and thoroughness. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

I had an appointment to remove a basal cell lesion. When I came in for the surgery, they told me that my physician could not do it that day. They told me that they had tried to reach me by phone earlier, but because I had opted out of texting, they couldn't leave me a message saying the appointment was canceled. I have no recollection of ever opting out of texting communication, and I have never heard of any Drs. office not being able to reach a patient because of that excuse. I looked on my phone, and saw I had received a phone call in the morning around 11: 30. I did not recognize the number, not was there any ID connected to the number. As I often get spam calls, if no voicemail is left, I usually just ignore them. If a voicemail had been left, I certainly would have listened to it and found out my appt. had been cancelled.. Her excuse that they couldn't text me, doesn't make any sense, when they were able to call me. I set aside my whole day for this appointment. I had to find out when I got to the office, that my physician was not there. They certainly did not try very hard to reach me for something as important as a skin cancer removal surgery. If I could give no stars I would have, but the rating system won't allow 0 stars.

I've had only one appointment here but everyone was very friendly the whole time. Dr Groth spoke very clearly to me about my options and which would be best for me. Overall it was a great experience.

I had a very concerning spot show up on my chest and I could not get into my dermatologist at Health Partners until August!!! I found Schweiger Dermatology by way of online search for a private clinic that would take my insurance. Turned out that they could see me within a couple of days, which was so important in terms of diagnosis and easing my mind. Dr. Legvold was fantastic. She knew right away what my issue was and treated it immediately and easily. All of the staff were kind and professional. Thank you all so much for your wonderful care.
