They have been known to detect lesions and gum infections, referring patients to specialists for timely treatment. The clinic's friendly and caring staff ensure a comfortable experience, even for emergency visits. It's a nice, clean, and comfortable place that makes the visit to the dentist a lot more pleasant. With early morning, evening, and Saturday appointments available, Park Dental Edina makes it easy to prioritize dental health. However, the front office seems a mess, with challenges in scheduling appointments, notifications, and follow-up.
It was my first visit at Park Dental in Edina. I had a very positive experience. It's a nice clean and comfortable place with friendly staff. It makes the visit to dentist a lot more pleasant.
I've been going to Park Dental Edina since I moved back to Minnesota in 2005. I took my mom there to see Dr. Burt. My mom had had really bad experiences with dentists, and she loved Dr. Burt. I see Dr. Thoele and I think he is fantastic. I grew up before fluoridated water and didn't see a dentist until I was 17 years old, so I have a mouthful of metal and crowns. Dr. Thoele has made me feel confident in going in every six months and knowing it will be a great experience without pain.
The hygienists and dentists are great. I have no qualms with them. Professional and excellent at what they do. However I've had to go to a new dental provider. The front office seems a mess for about the last two years. Appointments, notifications, follow up/through, just not there. It's also challenging to schedule appointments. 6 month checkups are sometimes 8 months due to availability (and I am not loyal to any one hygienist or dentist). They've had to reschedule a few appointments for my family recently (either day before or day of appointment), and I was told next available was nearly 4 months later. They seem to have rotated a few dentists and hygienists out/in in this time. Each time I try to schedule something or have questions at the front desk they give me a "we're going to a new system" as an excuse. Well it's been about 2 years of the "new system" excuses. Sorry, but I've gotta go.
