Awesome value for a gym that is rarely full and has great selection of equipment. Really impressed with the squat rack room in the back of gym that typically has 5 open squat racks at any given time. Trainers are very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for all around athletic training or recreational lifting.

I’ve been lifting at XCel fitness for at least 6 years now, and it’s easily the best gym I’ve worked out at. You have 24/7 access to equipment typically only available at luxury gyms (even some niche items like dip belts, 2.5 lb dumbbell increments, Hex bar) at a fraction of the cost. They staff are also very friendly, and the facilities are very well-maintained.
I moved out of Minnesota a few years ago, but I still look forward to getting my 1 week pass every time I come back to visit my family. Definitely a hidden gem.

This is such a great gym! - As an athlete coming out from college was really hard to find a gym with everything you could get at an athletic facility. However; Excel has done it for me! Great place and location
