This ER is dysfunctional. Brought my significant other here because we live at Lake Park. We are here right now. Should have went to our regular Sanford Hospital ER in Fargo. Understand it is a small hospital so maybe best it can be. I’m sure they try but the manner of some of the nurses leaves a bit to be desired.
Make the trip to Fargo Sanford if you have an emergency. It has to be better.
Nurses are great but dr kulasingham is very dismissive and arrogant to me specifically I have herniated discs and when I bend over and stand up straight it hurts pretty good along with twisting or even picking my two young children up and None of the three doctors I have seen at Essentia in DL and Fargo could tell me why I was having back pain still and after 6 months I saw Roger in physical therapy and he finally explained what the pain was from and still not getting the help I feel I need for my back problem And pain to get better but I still try to do little things here and there to make a little money to keep my bills paid, Wish I could get more help but it feels...read full review
I recently established care at Essentia in Detroit Lakes, MN. My new doctor, Sarah Bement, is fantastic and I had a first-rate experience meeting with her! From the moment I checked in at the front desk, throughout the entire visit and check out, I felt very listened to and cared for. From there, I went on to the mammography department. I hadn’t had a mammogram in a long time and was afraid of getting scolded about this, but that was not the case. Jess the RT was so personable and when more imaging was needed and I visited a second time, I met radiologist Ben Smith.
