I would recommend Dave you want a well done floor for a very, very reasonable price. I had 600 sq ft of hardwood floor to fix, sand and protect. Dave has the skill and experience to prescribe exactly what would look best for your home. He is an expert on flooring and trim. I was very satisfied with Dave's work. However, you should also be aware of the way that Dave conducts his business.

Dave refinished the main level floors on a house I just purchased, and I've been getting compliments ever since. People who saw the floors before his work are especially impressed. All the blemishes and gunk are gone. I chose Dave for the his competitive price and his dedication to low VOC finishes, but I also came away with a top quality job. The sellers had the upstairs floors refinished by another company just before selling, and the contrast between the workmanship is stark. I'm still finding pockets of dust upstairs, not so downstairs. (Nonetheless, the other company charged significantly more.) I only wish I could have hired Dave to do the whole house. I highly recommend Dave for refinishing your hardwood floors. We spoke with several companies, but Dave convinced us he would pay the most attention to detail and our concerns. We have a more complex floor - kitchen & dinette with island, pantry, desk, many angles, 3 round pillars, and inlaid brass accents. Dave really put in a lot of effort to get all the areas done right. He has honed his skills and customized tools to do excellent work. The results are great - our 24 year old maple floor looks better now than when it was first installed. Again, we are very happy with the results and highly recommend Dave for refinishing wood floors.
