Eric did such a great job! After a hail storm he stopped by seeing if we had any damage. After seeing our roof definitely needed replacing we put a claim into our insurance company. The adjuster denied the claim saying there wasn't enough damage. If it wasn't for Eric we would have thought that was the end of it but he told us we could ask for a second adjuster to come out. We did that and finally got them to agree to the claim. This whole process took almost a year but Eric stayed with it the whole time. He never gave up on us and stayed professional the whole time. 10/10 recommend!!!

I had hail then wind damage while working out of state. Eric Pilich dealt with my insurance company and adjusters. There was a long wait as winter made it unsafe to inspect roof. Erik stuck with it, met with adjusters and coordinated work while I was out of state. Work got done quickly once weather was optimal. They also worked around some scheduling conflicts I had due to my daughters wedding and houseful of out of state guests. Everything went well. Job well done and greatly appreciate Erik being available when I couldn’t and flexibility with scheduling.

Smart Construction exceeded my expectations from start to finish. They performed a complete roof and siding replacement on our home due to storm damage. The contractor did exactly what they said they would do—and they did it when they said they would. They took full ownership of the insurance process, handling all the paperwork and back-and-forth with the insurer so I didn’t have to worry about a thing.
