I can’t recommend Alterations by Sokchan enough! She adjusted the straps from a off the shoulder look to on the shoulder straps. I was so happy with how they turned out. Aside from hemming, and adjusting the sizing, she also did a french bustle and pressed my dress, which all turned out better than I imagined.
My dress had to travel by car all the way from Minnesota to Colorado, and somehow it still looked perfect when I arrived! I was so impressed with her attention to detail and the care she put into everything. I’m so grateful I trusted her with such an important part of my wedding day. Highly recommend her for any alterations!
She did my wedding dress and it is beyond beautiful. She made me fall in love with my wedding dress all over again. Shes affordable and quick. I didnt think id get my dress back until September. But I got it back in July. Thank you so much! I will edit review when I have a photo after the wedding.
We had a great experience with Sokchan. She was so helpful, not just with getting us in and out of our dresses, but accommodating different body types, undergarments, and making the perfect suggestions. She showed us how to use the bustle, which I could never have done on my own, and suggested the perfect style to show off the pretty lace in the train throughout the whole look. My last fitting, I came in on crutches, having broken my hip 3 weeks before the wedding. Even with my new posture, or lack thereof, the dress was perfect from start to finish. Everything stayed in place the entire day, I felt comfortable and classic.
