I recently lost my Mom and was not immediately familiar with any convenient funeral homes as we had previous negative experiences somewhere else. Understandably, this caused some anxiety because I wanted Mom to be cared for in the best way possible. I called MKD and was directed to Shelby H, the on-call funeral director. This was at 2AM, but she was so kind and reassuring, and immediately put my anxiety to rest. Shelby did a fantastic job, and she made sure to maintain communication throughout the week leading up to Mom's funeral to make sure there was no stress. I absolutely recommend MKD, and Shelby. Of course in their line of work, you hope you never have to see them again (LOL!), but I wouldn't hesitate to call them again when the need arises.
