Nadwa changed my life! I have Trich and about 7 years ago I came into her salon completely defeated. My hair loss had become so severe I could no longer cover it up, my self-esteem had a taken a great hit, through it all I was working and had a family. Nadwa and her assistant Chelsea are two of the most compassionate people you will ever meet. To go into a salon and reveal the most intimate thing about yourself is extremely difficult and I was very nervous, the moment I walked through the door and sat in her chair I felt totally at ease and knew she would be able to help me. She knew she could help me before I did!
She and Chelsea came up with an amazing plan for me and to this day I don't know where I would be mentally without them. I had no idea how many options there were for growing back your own hair while being able wear extensions and/or attachments in the process. Nadwa always takes time to explain what the best solution is for your hair loss and what's going to work for you. Her coloring skills are amazing, she wizarded up a color for me that I still love and haven't changed, I receive compliments all the time. While wearing my attachment no one believed me, I almost had to show them! My daughter, who has alopecia areata, has been seeing Nadwa for hair attachment applications since she was 12 years old (so for the last 10 years). When my daughter first acquired this autoimmune condition, and had visible bald spots with progressive hair loss, I was heartbroken and knew I had to do everything I could to find a solution that would reduce the impact of this devastating condition to her mental well-being (this disorder can come with significant psychological impacts - anxiety and depression). I am thankful that I found Nadwa, who has a genuine dedication and frankly, a life's mission, to help her hair loss clients. She has creatively solved every challenge presented to her - my daughter has gone through periods of almost complete hair loss, to regrowth and bald patches to - thankfully right now - complete regrowth of her hair and no need to wear an attachment at all! The hair pieces used are high quality, and the glue used to attach the piece does not cause any skin irritation, and absolutely does NOT affect the (re)growth of hair beneath it. My daughter has gone swimming, on roller coaster rides, and lived a completely normal life without the worry of wearing a wig that will fly off or move around, as not attached in this manner. As noted, she recently experienced complete regrowth and Nadwa suggested she remove the attachment - her goal ultimately is that her clients won't need them at all! Nadwa Yono takes advantage of women with hair loss by price gouging poor quality hairpieces from China & using damaging application methods. Low quality products and service for high end prices. I was a client for years and spent an average of 6k/year on her hairpieces and services as I wasn't experienced enough to know there were much better options. Quality was inconsistent and the last hairpiece I purchased from her was the last straw - it cost over 2k but was such poor quality, over-processed and dry that it constantly tangled and frizzed out, but she wouldn't take a return or discount it for quality issues. She takes no accountability for the quality of her products. I was so embarrassed and self conscious having this cheap looking hair bonded to my own. In addition, her bonding methods caused me to lose probably 50% of the hair I had left. The re-growth I’ve experienced since I stopped having her bond my hair has been amazing. I switched to wearing wigs full time which look SO much better than my Nadwa hair ever did. Though I decided I was done buying her hair after that, I still contacted her recently to make an appointment to have a wig custom cut. She told me that she doesn’t cut wigs unless they were purchased from her and that she never has. An outright lie as she custom colored and cut 2 wigs for me in the past that I purchased elsewhere. No integrity. Truth is she just doesn’t want to waste her time on clients that aren’t actively paying her big bucks for her overpriced hair and bonding services. Very hurtful to be treated like that after years of being a loyal client & putting tens of thousands of dollars in her pocket... over 40k in a seven year span. She only cares about money, not helping women with hair loss. Beyond the quality issues, she further takes advantage of a vulnerable community by claiming her hairpieces are a unique item called an “attachment” so that her clients aren’t even able to find comparable product pricing online. They are actually just human hair toppers with polyurethane for bonding that are sold for less than half of her price from most wig retailers. So deceptive. I honestly have a $50 wig from amazon that looks better than her $2,000 hairpieces. I wish I was joking. Educate yourselves ladies and stay away.

I'm so thankful for having finally found a hair dresses that actually cares and wants to make you look good with out damaging your hair.. I have been searching for someone to help me get my hair back to the way it use to be.My hair had a lot of breakage and was just overall damaged. Anytime I visit a specialist, they would barely give any effort in assisting me. Nadwa is a true professional. She is always willing to make time to help and is always so caring and respectful.
