We purchased a whole house generator. Sam was very professional and provided us with different quotes for the different options we could choose. He kept us informed on the dates and installation process. The crew that completed the work, did so in the rain and they were timely and efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Had Universal Electric install a breaker panel and an outdoor gen outlet, among other things. The electricians were very professional, same with the estimator. They cleaned up after themselves. And they went above and beyond, which I much appreciate. Cannot speak to price as this was kind of an expedited install and they were the only company to reply to Angi request. But I would trust them to do work for me in the future and I recommend their work.

I don’t leave many reviews but Universal was terrific. I don’t have to explain how hard it is to get someone to your house nowadays, yet alone an electrician; but Universal made it super easy. They even text you with the name and picture of the tech that will be arriving, along with their timeframe. That made my wife comfortable. My technician Jon was awesome! He explained exactly what the issue was that I had and made sure I had an understanding of how it all worked. I was so happy with him and his service I asked for a quote to have my entire basement wired. I will definitely ask for him when it comes time for that project.
