Had Trombley come out for a topsoil grade and sod for 240 linear feet job next to newly installed driveway. Couldn't be happier with the job, Felipe and his crew busted major ass knocked it out in record time, conscientious, excellent clean up, great personable crew and hard ass major league workers. No Pendejo Blanco boys could come close. A big thumbs up to Trombley and Felipe and his Crew!

I’d stay away from this unreliable place. Spoke to a women about getting a quote for grading and sod. A date was set and was told Justin would be calling before coming out.
Never received a phone call from Justin and was no show. Things come up I get, no worries we set up a second appointment but he was a no show again. I called a third time and spoke to Justin directly, he doesn’t apologize said he had other work and we make new appointment. At this point I’ve lost over 2 weeks with them. He makes an appointment with me 6 days out and says I’m his number priority that day.
3rd appointment no show and again no call. I call him and he tells me he thinks he’s been out to my house a year prior to that for a quote and won’t come out again. 🤷
I let him know that he’s never been out to my house. I had some neighbors that did grading and soding he could’ve been to their house. Makes an appointment with me again and never shows.
I never called back. Very unprofessional!! I wasted four occasions clearing my schedule around him coming where I didn’t go into work expecting him to come over and he was a no-show, with no phone call each time.
He was Never at my home, but if he was he should’ve said we’re not interested and moved on.
Now that I’m here and I see all the other negative comments Justin did me a favor.

I had to go and get some sod after the contractor I hired to install a shed pad destroyed my lawn. Everyone was so polite and nice. The guys who loaded my car (Logan and Michael?) we're so careful to make sure they didn't get my husband's car dirty. They really respected our property. I had a great experience.

Great sod farm. The lady at the desk was very friendly and fun to talk with. She let me in to wash my hands after loading my sod since my hands got so muddy. She gave great instructions how to get the sod off the palet, too.

I was very happy with the service I recieved and the lawn looked beautiful when they finished. Justin, his staff and crew were very helpful. Thank you also with all your help and expertise during the lawn service cutter fiascal! Would highly recomend.

Trombley Sod Farm was contracted by my landscaper to install sod at my home. The employees were very polite, however, the sod installation was not very good. There were many gaps and divots that my lawn company even made a comment about the job. Also, after watering for 11 hours a day (20 min a zone, 11 zones, 3 times a day) for 2 weeks as instructed by the installers - my sod is finding it very difficult to get green. My water bill can prove that I have been indeed watering it ($1300 with a second meter for irrigation). Many of the pieces that were brought were yellow as well and the team that came to grade my lot didn’t do such a good job removing any of the small weeds in the boulevards. My review is based on comparison of the other sod companies that have installed at my neighbors homes (we live in a new sub where many of the neighbors had sod installed this summer). I’ll have to try my best to somehow revive the sod and get rid of all weeds that have poked throughout the gaps in the sod. Overall, unfortunately I would not recommend but I understand I may be a one off situation.

I work in the public service sector so this review is as real as it gets. We shopped around over a year ago for sod. We thought we chose a good/reputable sod farm. Upon many delays for random reasons that were more like excuses, they showed up to install. The prep was slow and the guys were unmotivated. I addressed this issue with the boss (I dont remember his name) and he was defensive. He then tried to tell us we were short sod based on our own calculations that he trusted (my husband is very meticulous and was on par with the square footage) then they blamed the builder and the city for wrong dimensions. All send and done, it was installed and they were wrong and he admitted they didnt bring enough sod. Rest showed up within a few hours. 13 months later, we have had sod tests and so many problems. We have every sod issue one could have and I didnt even know this all existed. We have crane flies, sod web worm, and necrotic ring. The multiple specialists I have had out to diagnose and give second opinions have all stated that this comes from the sod farm for lack of proper care and not initially fertilizing before taking it up for install. I may be wrong in some of my terminology, but the bottom line is this sod farm does not care about their customers. Please consider all the many alternative companies as I am in a new build sub and there are so many great companies out there, and none of my neighbors have any issues.

They called on a VERY hot morning to recommend delivery later (not noon). When I got home, the sod was all delivered to the far side of my yard. Why? They placed it under the shade of my tree to preserve the sod's roots. Simple & Brilliant. I will MOST DEFINITELY order from Trombley's again.
