The vibe of the place was great. Very laid back, and modern. I loved the person who cut my hair, no forced conversation needed. Would go again, only flaw I could think of was the space. Well worth anybody's $20.

In town from LA and needed a haircut. This place had the most decent review so I checked it out. When I showed up, the barber texted for about 15 minutes before I was able to be seated. His kid son was also there. Which didn't bother me but it may be something you may want to know since you may have to watch kid movies/shows the entire time. The fade wasn't completely blended in on one side and he pushed my hairline back just a bit, but it was nothing major. I probably wouldnt come back, but it definitely wasn't awful. Living in LA for 5 years, I guess my standards are just a bit higher.

Possibly the best experience I've had getting a haircut. Knocked it out of the park. My barber took his time and really made sure my fade was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Laid back environment with good staff. Went here because the first place I tried is by appointment only but instead found my new favorite shop for a fade. I'll definitely be returning to A-1 and will recommend it to family and friends.
