Sylvan Glen Golf Course is a municipal course owned by the city, featuring a mix of hills, trees, prairie grass, and water hazards. While the course may not be as well-maintained as others in the area, it provides a good challenge for mid to high handicap golfers, with birdie opportunities for long hitters. Weekends can be busy, and tee times are recommended. Although some find it to be on the pricier side for a public course, it still offers a decent golfing experience. Golfers have enjoyed their time here, noting that dinner at Ticonderoga after a round is a great way to end the day. The course's hot dog at the turn is said to be one of the best in Michigan.
