Psarianos Violins is a little gem offering the best string instruments and service. The shop provides a broad spectrum of highly specialized instruments, from beginner to professional, with unbeatable and fair prices. The staff is knowledgeable, skilled, courteous, patient, and incredibly communicative, with no pressure to buy. They are generous with time and information. The business is outstanding for purchasing, renting, and repairs, including instrument adjustments, maintenance, and bow rehairs. The repair shop does fantastic work at reasonable prices. Customers immediately feel like part of the family in the cozy town home. The shop receives the highest recommendation for its high quality in every way.
My five-year-old daughter and I visited Psarianos Violins this weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. My daughter needed her new violin repaired, a new case, and accessories.
Laurie and her knowledgeable, thoughtful staff made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. They were patient, kind, and truly invested in making this a special experience for my daughter. purchased an instrument from them many years ago, and recently brought it in for some adjustments and a bow rehair. They were able to do fantastic work at a very fair price and were incredibly communicative during the process. I would highly recommend both purchasing and repairs from this shop!
I can't say enough good about Psarianos. We have rented and purchased violas, and purchased multiple bows for violin and viola. Each transaction has been outstanding. The prices are fair and the knowledge is excellent. I have never felt any pressure to buy and the staff has all been very patient as we shop for just the right instrument. They have instruments to suit everyone from the beginner to the professional. Psarianos is the only place we go to have our instruments maintained and our bows rehaired. I really wish I would have know about them when my daughter started playing 9 years ago; she would have been renting a much better instrument for the same price as the rental our school uses.
