Love this place. The lady who owns it is part work horse, part artist. In addition to hemming pants and dresses and taking in waist bands, she has made throw pillows for me out of delicate vintage fabrics.
The alteration work I’ve had done here has been satisfactory in the past, but this tailor is a harsh woman and I’m fed up at this point with her lack of customer service. My mom and I have been going to her for years, but I will not be going back. I went to her with a (minor) emergency regarding my wedding dress and she told me it would take her 7 days to adjust some spaghetti straps. She also had completely zero empathy for my situation and was more focused on making me feel bad about my initial decision to go with the bridal shop’s recommended tailor.Anyway.
