I had Yellow Jackets in the upstairs room of my bungalow. It started with me finding a couple dead ones a week, and progressed to finding live ones every day. After getting stung for the 2nd time, i figured out they were flying in. They nest was high enough I'd need a ladder and I wasn't sure how deep they were, so I decided to try a professional. I called American Pest, the receptionist was friendly and told me a technician would get back to me today. A couple of hours later the technician called me and listened to my situation. He said he could check it out right then and it was probably to $80-100 to spray. He arrived within an hour and called me up to detail the situation. His trained eye found a bigger opening in my soffit with a lot of wasp traffic that I didn't notice. We had a good detailed professional conversation, and he warned of the possibility that spraying from the exterior didn't have a 100% success rate with a interior nest. I gave him the green light and he sprayed. A few days later the wasps were all gone to wasp heaven. Just a tip: They indicated they were only able to eradicate bee nests up to 20 feet. Anything higher would require a different exterminator company.
