I’ve bounced around barbershops for years trying to find someone who can actually listen and consistently deliver, and Angie at The Takeover is the real deal. She takes the time to make sure everything is right, but still works fast. She understands modern styles and knows how to clean it up without taking too much length off. I showed her a picture of a modern mullet fade and she matched it to a T. The shop has a great atmosphere, the website is clean and easy to book through, and the pricing is impossible to beat for the quality you get. This place is the reason I stopped going anywhere else. Best barbershop in Northern Michigan.

Angie and Andre at the Takeover Barbershop are great!! Angie has cut my hair since I moved up to Traverse City 2 years ago and has always done an incredible job. They are fun and provide a great atmosphere with the music and banter. Located in an easy walk from most of downtown and very very reasonable pricing!
