We are very happy with the workers that come to take care of Mom. Some of them are now like family. They're very patient with her when she has bad days, and we are glad to have them as part of her care team.

I have had an excellent experience with Friends. They are helping with my brother who is in an assisted living facility. Since they have coming been there, he is looking so much better. He is getting regular showers and the care he deserves. Couldn't be happier with their care and concern!

When my husband was dying at the end of last year I brought him home with hospice after being in hospice care in a neglectful situation at an assisted care facility in Sylvania for 4 days. It was supposed to be a great place and I was spending 12-14 hours there with him during the day and going home at night. That's a whole other story. Anyway, my daughter lives out of town and wanted someone here to help me so I could get a little sleep in between my giving husband morphine every 4 hours, even though I really shouldn't have agreed to it in hindsight. I never ended up sleeping when the employees from Friends were here anyway and I am glad I didn't. Some of the people were helpful and vigilant. Some were not. One man in particular I caught sleeping who was supposed to be awake and paying attention to my husband in the middle of the night in case anything changed. My husband could have died in this idiots care during those 4 hours I was trying to get some rest. I wouldn't have been with him when he did finally die with me by his side. Another man they sent over in the middle of the night I found out lied about the care he was giving my husband. One of the girls, who were there during some of the day hours just happened to show me on her phone that he had performed care for my husband which I told her never happened. He said he had given him a bath and emptied his urine bag. He never did these things. The girls they sent over were all good and a couple were exceptional and all were kind. I don't think the screening of the people they hire is up to the standards it should be for this type of facility, especially when they are with patients in the middle of the night. The 2 men who were sent over at night made me feel uneasy being here at night by myself. I told my daughter I wouldn't let anymore strange men in the house and the 2 who were sent were definitely strange and creeped me out. After this only women came at night.

The care person who took care of my mom was amazing. My mom got a long with her from day one. She was so kind and patient with her. She was a big help. We thank God she was a part of my mom‘s life for a short period of time.

I called this company trying to retrieve my W-2s. They told me that they mailed them out and I told them that I did not receive them. The lady in the office told me that I could download an app and retrieve my W-2s that way. I tried calling back and telling her that I was having trouble with the app, but she wasn’t friendly at all. She told me multiple times that I could come into the office and pick up my W-2 after I told them multiple times that I was unable to do so at the moment. They told me that They would send my W-2s in the mail one more time and I was very thankful for that. I called today following up asking if they sent that W-2 yet just to see when I should be expecting it in the mail and they were so rude, I’ve never seen a company act this way. Tracy was the rudest one and I feel so bad that this company has these people working for them.

Friends of the Family came through for my family from day one. I was in town visiting my parents from Texas and I was actually catching a flight later that day. The owner came out to meet with my family and I on short (less than a day) notice. She paired a caregiver with my parents who was the perfect fit. She clearly knew how to approach them, communicate with them and be successful in caring for them. Her training and experience/expertise as a caregiver were obvious. The agency was really great about communicating concerns, issues, etc. given my sister and I live out of town and were not able to see my parents on a daily or weekly basis. The agency was more than fair and flexible and so incredibly easy to work with from a scheduling standpoint. I highly recommend Friends of the Family Home Health Care. You won't be disappointed!! ***Special thanks to Kristy who was an absolute angel in caring for my aging parents. Her heart is in what she does on a daily basis and she clearly has a passion for caring for others!***
