“I went to MZ’s beauty hair salon, and miyada done me the permanent hair straightening (AS hair care) hair treatment, and the treatment is all natural, so I feel good about putting it on my hair, it didn’t cause my hair to go dry unlike other products, and it didn’t hurt my scalp or give off a hard and nasty smell. It’s going to be a game changer. No more frizz, no more tangles, no more worrying about hair loss! “I have been looking for a natural hair stylist that cares about the health of my hair for a long time. When I made my appointment with Bea, I told her I would like color to cover my greys. She said, being a first timer, she would need to see my hair first to make sure it was healthy enough. I was very impressed by this because that was never said to me with previous stylists. Most stylists give you what you want if it's healthy for your hair or not.

I like that the appointments are private. The place has a cool laid back vibe to it with music playing and a flat screen. She was very thorough and took her time with me. She asked a lot of questions about my hair and scalp, products I use, and hair tools. At the end of my appointment, she asked if I had any more questions! She ended up referring me to a dermatologist for some hair thinning issues just to make sure there wasn't a medical reason for it. Again, first time a stylist ever recommended this to me. She is very easy to talk to and laid back. She gives a very relaxing shampoo and deep conditioner treatment. She even has a full product line at her shop, but she didn't push it at all. She said if I like the healthy products I'm using, keep using them.
I'm so glad that I found this gem of a place. I recommend Ann Bea's to anyone who wants a stylist who cares about your hair's health and styles beautifully.“

“This place is a hidden Gem. Emad has been my barber for a long time and he cuts hair to perfection. I get a consistent hair cut every time I go. Unlike other barber shops that finish men’s haircuts in 10-15 mins…he takes his time. He also is very precise with beards. Asides from that he’s a great dude. Contact him and set up an appointment. He’s available by text or phone.

I made an emergency appointment (thank you again for fitting me in on such late notice!) because I had gone to another salon which completely butchered my dye job. I looked like the bride of Frankenstein, which would normally be cool, but I was freaking out because I had homecoming the very next day. Thankfully, Alicia completely fixed it and made it drop-dead gorgeous!! I cannot thank this place enough. I have very long hair that has been dyed with dark brown/ black box dye for the past almost 30 years and she did the best job lightening my hair and giving me the prettiest pink balayage. “Okay I'm gonna say sorry in advance for the length of this review. I had a horrible experience with a salon three years ago. They took my natural grey hair & bleached it blonde. I just wanted a toner to get the yellow out. Needless to say it had to be dyed dark again, which broke my heart. So I hesitated to go to a salon again. But then I took a leap of faith & went to Shagg. The minute I walked in I knew this was it but with who? Two beautiful ladies started saying names and then one said Faith. At that moment I knew I was in the right place. I can not say enough about this salon! But there really is no words for Faith! She was so sweet & empathetic to my fear. She took her time to do what she knew would work, and when the first thing didn't she tried something else! And I can not tell you how good if feels to feel pretty again.
